CAPCMX was founded by seasoned Canadian facilities executives who saw a critical need for change. After managing large building portfolios for over a collective 40 years, our founders knew firsthand the frustration of juggling consultant reports, spreadsheets, and complex software that never quite fit.
Instead of accepting the status quo, they envisioned a better way. CAPCMX Inc. launched as a direct response to the outdated, siloed and overly complex tools prevalent in facility management.
Our platform bridges the gap by uniting independent and competent facility condition audits and Capital Planning tool with a modern maintenance management (CMMS) system in one seamless solution, a combination that simply didn’t exist in the Canadian market until now.
CAPCMX is built to align with government data sovereignty requirements, regional standards, and the practical realities of maintaining university and College campuses, hospitals, K-12 schools, REIT’s and more. By integrating long-term capital planning with everyday maintenance, we help organizations ensure no priority falls through the cracks.
Leadership and Experience
CAPCMX is founded by by a former Director of Facilities Management and an Building Envelope industry leader with over 40 years of combined experience in facilities management, engineering, and leading capital renewal projects.
Together they have managed over $350 million in public infrastructure projects. This deep expertise is built into CAPCMX. Our leadership’s hands-on knowledge means the platform is practical, reliable, and tuned to the realities of institutional operations. We understand what executives and facility managers need, because we’ve been in those roles ourselves.
